Knights of the Zodiac is undoubtedly one of the best-known oriental products in the West: we are talking about the highly successful manga, written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada from 1985 to 1990, which brought to the fore a widely appreciated universe, to such an extent that below an anime was created with also several spin-offs to accompany and expand the reference story. After that, for some time, we have become accustomed to all animated adaptations of the franchise and also to various video games and action figures, a few years ago, a live-action project was announced which finally landed in cinemas worldwide.

From what can be seen in the images, videos, and trailers of Knights of the Zodiac, the plot of the manga has definitely been adapted to modern times, even if the core seems to remain the same: a group of young people who discover to have incredible powers, being destined to protect the Goddess Athena. In particular, in a recent clip shared on Fandango's Twitter page, we can see the training of the protagonist (who is played by Mackenyu) who is intent on training with Castalia. Finally, we can observe that Pegasus discovers that he has some incredible abilities.

Knights of the Zodiac, produced by Stage 6 Films, Toei Animation and Convergence Entertainment, sees a cast composed in particular by Famke Janssen as Guraad, Mark Dacascos as Mylock, Madison Iseman as Sienna, Sean Bean as Alman Kido, Nick Stahl as Cassios, Diego Tinoco as Beast. The film, in detail, will be in cinemas on 12 May 2023 with the distribution of Sony Pictures Italia.
